So I recently passed my CCNA, and it is time to start pusing toward the NP.

One of my major day-to-day responsibilities at work is managing multi-layer switch networks. Therefore, it seems to make most sence that I begin studying for the BCMSN.

Prior to my recent CCNA effort, I attempted the BSCI exam. I failed this exam twice, before my CCNA cert. expired. I rushed these 2 efforts, with minimal study, and lousy material. But I got a fair foundation. Maybe this would be a good place to start ?

My efforts will be paired with all of the most recent Cisco-Press material for the exam in question. A web-based course offering through Mindleaders with emphasis on the exam in question, as well as access to simulation software where applicable. Regardless of the exam in question these resources will all be offered at the expense of my employer.

That being said...

Any advice on which test to start with on my road to CCNP ? What about 2nd, 3rd, and Final exams ?

If you have experience with switching and vlans then I would recommend knocking out the BCMSN just to get it out of the way. This one was tough for me because I had no switching experience.

Then I would do the BCSI, BCRAN, and CIT in that order.

I have passed the BCSI, BCMSN, and CIT and am working on BCRAN at the moment. I wish I had done the BCRAN before the CIT because there were a lot of frame-relay and WAN type questions on the CIT and I failed the CIT once before passing it.

The Cisco Press material for the BSCI and BCRAN are ok. The CIT exam guide was a total letdown. I passed the CCNA, CCDA, and BSCI on my own but have been using the Cisco Academy for the others so I can have access to equipment that I normally cannot use.
