how's this for a good deal? my high school offers a Cisco course, which is basically the same trainging that you pay for to get CCNA. if i take the course for the next two years, all i have to do is go and take the test
that is basically the only worthwhile course at my school

Well, strangly enough, I've just filled out an application for the CISCO CCNA course being offered at a college here in the UK. I'm sending it off tomorrow

I know someone who's doing it at the moment - he says it's pretty intense but definitely worthwhile. It's also an extremely well regarded course (apparently if you do well, you can more or less walk into a decent job )

Yep, I have to pay But I reckon it has to be worth it in the long run. Sounds like a really great course, if you stick at it and take everything in.

Yeah that course is offered in High Schools in America. It's a four semester course. I took a year of it my senior year. After the fourth semester you DO have to pay for the test though.

i don't know if i have to pay for the test here though. it's only a 3 year course here(non-semestered) i'm taking my first year now. i think we get the test free, but if we fail we have to pay to re-take it. i'm not certain though

My friend has it at his HS (regular public high school) also, but mine (since it's a special school, e.g. people have to pass a test to get in) doesn't have it. Wtf is that? This guy doesn't even know how to do things like rightclick-dragging of files and he gets a free network cert cource? Goddamnit

i go to a public highschool as well, i don't know if any private ones around here have it or not. but like i said, thats the only worthwhile course to take in my school(and auto shop)

btw, how much does it cost(preferably in $cnd) for the course and test?

I'm currently going through CCNA semesters 1&2 in my sophmore year of HS. It is a really easy class(atleast for me). I would say take it, its is worth it.
