I been thinking of getting CCIE certification if some of you people with this cert can tell me is there a lot of work. I been looking and it seem to be some jobs out there and moneys not bad So any advice and is it worth it .

try the networking forum

ps - you'll need at least 3-5 years hard core experience. I have 10 years and am having difficulty with the LAB.

They generally say you need about 1 year of studying and lab practice.

Thankz for your replies I have been a system admin for a long time, it time to change for the better but with the market being so soft I just want to find out how CCIE is doing out in the market.

I suggest you try theNetworking forum for this question, it'll likely soon be locked here. And you'll get more responses in the Networking forum.
