CCD-TRV57 $349, TRV67 $399, TRV87 $249 at various B&M

Sony is replacing these handycam with a newer, cheaper, crappier model.
here's what I've seen so far
CCD-TRV37 $249, CCD-TRV57 $349, CCD-TRV67 $399, CCD-TRV87 $449 (I saw it as low as $249 open box)
Check your nearest Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry.
BTW, same thing applied to DCR-TRV series too.

I need opinions on this:
I saw CCD-TRV87 for $249 but it just the Camcorder unit. I'm thinking of getting it since I can get a free battery somewhere.
is it worth it ? what am I missing from the full package ? (manual, battery charger, remote, cables, etc ?) how much will it cost me to get the remote or battery charger ?

I just picked up the CCD-TRV87 $449 at bestbuy.You might try going threw sony website to see if they sell the charger.I believe they sell a external charger,but cost around 150.00 dollars.I have been pricing these things for a while.I almost bought the DCR-TRV120.I had checked pricegrabber.com for the lowest price on the the trv120 453.00.I called sears to see if they would pricematch.The guy told me to print out the price and bring it in.The only reason i did'nt get it was i had quite few dollars in bestbuy giftcertifcates so i went with trv87.I will be checking back with bestbuy in the next thirty days to see if it get lower in price.good luck
