Ccc 11.11

Thanks for the heads up. I wonder if this will help BF3 performance.

Well, this will, for crossfire:

ATI Catalyst Application Profiles 0.5 MB 11.11 CAP 1 11/15/2011
Description:

This release of ATI Catalyst™ delivers support for the latest ATI CrossFireX™ profiles in a separate executable file ensuring users have access to the absolute latest set of profiles installed on their PC.

New profiles added to this release:
- Battlefield 3: Tweaks to the CrossFire profile
- Global Ops – Commando Libya: Improves CrossFire performance
- Driver San Francisco: Disables CrossFire

WTH.

Shouldn't this release scream Skyrim? Where is it in the notes?... F. They are still working on the Skyrim Cap. Fantastic.

Well those drivers don't seem to do anything for Skyrim...
Not even some performance boost in current games...

What are those for exactly apart from the 3 new profiles?

I'm about to get this... Do you have any issues with it?

Well, not really any issues... 🙂 as I posted in the SR3 thread in PC Gaming, my 6950 runs it pretty well at 1080p with maxed out settings. It doesn't quite go above 60fps in most areas, but by lowering the AA from 8x down to 4x or 2x it would probably run consistently above 60 without a hitch (although I personally haven't tweaked it yet, so I'm not sure).

But yeah, it runs great for me... definitely no grating performance issues like SR2 had. I was just curious if AMD had done anything for it in their new drivers but maybe that won't be til next time.

Just updated my drivers and it was a pain. I forgot to take off the GPU overclock when installing the new drivers, but I'm not sure if that was the problem. Got it sorted out after a few reboots though.

Im still on 11.9. I havent been playing any new games. Looks like I'll skip this and hold out for 11.12

Also read the known issues in the release notes. Seems pretty bad IMO. Bsod in black ops, texture flickering in a few dx9 games. These stand out more than the typical known issues, at least in my memory.

Instead of "Warning: Screen may flicker...", it should say "Warning:Screen will turn off for good, give it 5 minutes then hard boot". Guess I can't complain to much, this is the first time I've had problems with CCC.

i read a post from a beta tester and he said it had it but i guess he was wrong.but it looks like forcing crysis or Oblivion profile in radeon pro works

Well here is hoping it fixes the BSOD that I get in 1110 when playing BF3. I got it in the pre-releases and the final release. And it always happens. 1109 drivers run rock solid.
