Alright I got my cc0 700E running rock solid at 1050mhz with a FOP32-1. I get into windows fine at 1071mhz, but counter-strike crashes. Currently running at 1064, but haven't tried gaming yet. Any tips on stability when pushing it higher?

-------------

Got another question about memory configs on my CUSL2. Should I go:
1x256 + 1x128 @ cas3 @ 150mhz (micron and infineon chips)
or
2x128 @ cas2 @ 150 mhz (mosel chips)

Gonna keep one set of memory sticks and sell the other. Just wondering if it's worth running less memory at cas2. I'm thinking that I can't run three sticks of ram cuz I've heard that you can only run 2 double sided sticks max. Actually, I think you can run the CUSL2 w/ all 3 banks filled, but I'd rather just go with 2 filled. So what should I do?

You can run the CUSL2 with all 3 banks full at 133MHz or above....it's the only i815E motherboard that can do it. Make sure that you set SDRAM Data Driving Mode to Strong in the BIOS. That usually increases stability at higher speeds as well.

Yea, temporarily, I have all three blanks filled (2x128 and 1x256) running at 143 just fine.

At this point I'm really wondering whether I need more than 256mb of ram...

Now if you run Scisoft sandra or any other benchmark you'll see that the memory throughput drops right after you go above 140 fsb !! So go to the cusl www site and get the method to fix it, the url is :

I've been reading that site quite a bit and have read some people mentioning that memory performance dropped past 140fsb. I thought it was fixed with the 1003 bios. However, I might be wrong. Do you have the specific article/post for the fix?
