I would do this but occasionally I get a sweet 0% balance transfer for 24 months or longer offer.

If I opted out, I would receive ZERO CC OFFERS. That's what our shredder is for.

I kept getting offers from Providian. One or two weekly. Somewhere buried in the fine print was a mailing address to request removal from their list which I did. And it worked for a couple years but now I'm getting the damn things again.

I've sent a few generic out opt letters to undesirable cc companies. It usually works.
