I was just watching CBS news and they were going over the GOP primary and went through the candidates in the race and what do you know....no ron paul at all. Still mentioned thompson and giuliani even though RP generally out polls both of them yet they don't mention him at all. This whole shit is so obvisously rigged it just bothers me that they can get away with it without question.
 
giuliani is sitting on floriduh (which has more delegates than all the states that will have voted up to that point combined), and polls well nationally. RP doesn't poll shit on a stick nationally. thompson should do well in south carolina. RP won't.

edit: real clear politics has giuliania outpolling paul 3x over, and thompson outpolling paul more than double.

And more importantly Florida is the first(of many) winner take all states.
 
This is kind of like complaining that, when talking about the Superbowl this year on ESPN, none of the Sportscasters mentioned the Miami Dolphins or Oakland Raiders. No doubt a small contingent of fanboys were steamed about it but there was good reason for no mention of them. They were not truly contenders.

I almost don't want to vote for Ron Paul in the California primary out of spite for the Ron Paul trolls in this forum. Get over it, nothing is rigged. Paul just isn't that important to the media or the American public at large. It's a sad but true reality.
 

Perhaps if Ron Paul wanted to end illegal immigration, reduce legal immigration, end foreign outsourcing, and end foreign work visas he'd have more support. However, he basically advocates the same type of free trade dogma that put the U.S. economy in its current state to begin with.

Polls are different than the votes.

When Paul can become more of a blip on the screen then complain.
Thompson was a Senator which commands more media respect than a Representative.
Giuliani was head of NYC which also commands more media respect than a Representative from TX.


It is not that the system is rigged; it is the candicate has not been able to create any sustainable media interest.

Paul did not meet the level that his polling "showed" in the first 4 contests.
Why?

Answer that question and you will also have the media coverage answer.

If this is what you quantify as disturbing, you need to get out more. You point to RP out polling Giuliani. Giuliani is polling far ahead of the field in NY, CA, and FL. As in 1st place. Where is RP polling in 1st? 2nd?? 3rd???

Thompson isn't going to win didly either, but people like looking at the old guy from Hunt for Red October and saying, hey I know that guy!

Your answer did not refute any of my original argument. I say he already hit double digits in actual voting.. he already has some actual delegates..

and then you tell me that polls are different than votes - implying that polls don't matter. Well, I agree - polls don't matter - but I am saying that Paul got 10% actual votes in Iowa and he has actual delegates..
 
after Thompson and Guilliani fail in S.C. and Florida, then they'll stop talking about them

super tuesday will be between Romney, McCain, Huckabee and it won't necessarily knock two of them out

A caucus is not a primary and Paul only got double digits in Iowa if you round up, iirc. 9.7% was the actual number, iirc.

He failed to garner even 8% in the great independent New Hampshire.

And you're right, there is a difference between a caucus and a Primary.
