I really like him, but I'll never be able to believe a word that comes out of his mouth. I'm sure the execs are drooling over his viewer demographics, but WTF?
 
Ah, so Mary Mapes was the real target all along. Could it possibly be because she happened to seriously embarrass the Bush administration by helping bring the atrocities at Abu Graib to the publics awareness?

No, maybe because she is a partisan hack and ran with a story to get Bush. A story that was false. She's an activist who tried to create a story. How long had she been trying to dig something up on this story?

The others should be fired as promised. Blather should be relieved immediately too IMO. Well, actually he should have been removed long ago- but hey, better late than never.

Oh, and she didn't bring anything about Abu out - it was public knowledge long before she got her partisan hack paws on some pics.
