I can't find the story on CNN.com, but CNN on TV is showing a mall security tape of a lady being kidnapped and put in the trunk of a car.

anyone see this?? anyone have a link to the news story??

A shopping mall security camera videotaped the apparent kidnapping of a woman who was chased through a parking structure by two men, grabbed and stuffed into the trunk of a car as shoppers seemed to notice but took no action.

Police on Thursday were still trying to determine the identities of the woman, believed to be in her 20s, and two men involved in the Sunday evening incident at the Corona Discount Mall.

The woman's videotaped reaction upon seeing the men suggested she knew them.

Detective Frank Zellers said the incident was being investigated as a kidnapping.

"It's very discouraging right now and it's really difficult for us, because we don't know who the victim is," he told KCAL-TV. "And it's obvious that some kind of crime occurred. We don't know who the suspects are and who the victim is."

A security camera with a view outside the front of the mall recorded the scene as the woman walked from a parking lot to the sidewalk outside the entrance.

When a black Toyota Solara raced up and braked, the woman looked over her shoulder at the car and took off running into a parking structure with the vehicle in pursuit.

Despite a fuzzy videotape image, the woman could be seen running down a parking aisle as two men jump out of the Solara and chased her down. One man threw the woman over his shoulder, carried her back to the car and put her in the trunk, which the other man had opened.

A handful of shoppers visible in the foreground of the scene appeared to turn their heads and watch the incident. In addition, several motorists drove through the scene.

Corona is a Riverside County city of 138,000 about 40 miles southwest of Los Angeles.

Actually, the video is pretty blurry. I doubt if they'll be able to get the license plate number off of it.

Probably being raped and beaten countless times and who knows what else. Does anyone else wonder why no one in the vicinity didn't grow some balls and try to save the poor girl? If I witnessed that my a$$ would be all over those sick bastards.

I don't wonder why no one attempted to save her, I m pretty sure it was because they didn't want to get shot or cut.

Don't we have police for this type or thing ? I would've called 911 and taken the plate, but I m not about to charge up to someone who is STUFFING SOMEONE INTO THE TRUNK OF THEIR CAR and play superman. That's how people get hurt. Or rather, more people.

They should give it to the crime guys you see on tv shows. They can pull a license plate from a single pixel with their "enhance' feature. Man I wish I had one of those.
