Caught by Surprise

There must be something about me that I can't figure out but when I'm in public, random people just come up to me and shoot to sh-t. Sometimes I don't mind but its getting kind of weird now. The other day I was sititng I drove to the park to read for school (too many distractions at home) and this guy comes up to me and just starts talking. My window wasn't even rolled down all the way. Then today I'm at the mall walking around and this girl starts talking to me. I had no idea who she was and doubt that I ever met her. Then she starts calling me by my name. "Stalker" flies into my mind so I say "I've gotta go, bye" and swiftly walk away. Now as I'm walking outside, this older guy stops me and starts talking about the weather and how its gotten real hot. Then he started talking about stores and sales. After about 3 minutes I kindly excused myself and walked to my car. I guess I'm just friendly...

Does this ever happen to any of you?

hehehehe. I enjoy those moments when strangers are friendly.

This morning, I had a complete stranger (attractive woman 15 years my senior) tell me I look really good. We had a whole conversation as we walked in from parking. I don't think she was hitting on my... i dunno. Doesn't really matter either way.

I usually have people come up to me thinking they know me and then finding out that in just about every place I've been, there's someone that resembles me. I don't forget faces, but sometimes I sure try

Well, whenever I go to The Gap, one of the clerks always yells "Anthony!!!" and I always reply "You do that to me all the time".

No. Man, what kind of social mutants are you people? I mean some of the things you say just aren't funny...

it happens quite a lot to me too...i always just figured i had some dumb look on my face that said "this guys easy to talk to" or something...

there are worse things i life...i'd be much more upset if people went running and screaming when they saw me...or even worse just start to cry in terror...

i dont mind that strangers find me easy to talk to

Well, it doesn't bother me that much (only if I'm busy), I just find it odd that complete strangers pick me out of the blue and strike up a conversation...
