20+ years of going to astros games and i finally get me a foul ball. stung like a mother when i caught it. caught it off of the mets' david wright in the top of the 9th

The Astros won!??! All 5 games I've gone to this season, they have lost..badly.

Congrats, on the foul ball. I was sitting at the club level behind and to the right of home base. A foul ball was coming straight for us, but it didn't clear the top of net by half an inch.

Nice! My dad caught one 15+ years ago. I have never caught one.

I came close to catching a Jeff Francoeur home run two years ago, but it was not to be. It's probably for the best, as I hate the Braves anyway.😀

 
My little brother caught a foul ball at a Yankee game when we were kids, but although I've come close a bunch of times I've never gotten one myself.

I'd be interested to know how many of his total baseballs were actually game balls...as in, caught off of a homerun or foul tip...or even handed to him by a player. Seems most of his balls are from practice, and taking balls laying around from the bullpen and such. Still has a lot of baseballs though...
 
I remember letting one go when Griffy Jr. hit one foul during a Mariners vs Boston game.

Actually I didn't "let it go" I ducked. It would of took off my arm and hand if I caught it. I felt bad for the guy behind me though. It was a frozen rope with my name on it.

In high school my buddy sitting next to me got nailed in the forehead with a hockey puck. I went to put my hand up, but i was about a split second to slow, and he was looking the other way. Crack! LMAO. He was just fine...had a pretty nice knot on his head.

Ouch hah. Did anybody comes to see if he was ok? They had ushers rush over to the guy who got hit by griffys ball to escort him to the first aid kiosk.

Yeah, a couple of the hockey mom's came running over. lol...no ushers around really...since it was just a high school game. He was fine though. lol
