What color? An unusually colored person would make me laugh no matter what they were saying.
 
The only time I'm offended by racial slurs is if they can use them. If an "african-american" can call another a n*gger, then why can't I? I mean, I'm not racist, but this double standard stuff is bullsh!t.
 
What's funny is this thread would be locked and the OP banned if this thread were directed toward black people. Racial slurs are okay when used against whites.

A friend of mine is named White, and several of us call him Whitey to get his attention in public.

beloved patriot, cracker, howlee it's all the same to me. Doesn't bother me that someone might use any of these words, but the tone and circumstances of the use might.
 
Hell, I've called myself a dumb honkey before.

I think people are entirely way too uptight when it comes to joking around; however with that being said there is indeed a time and place for everything and one has to know their audience before they attempt to say something that could be taken as an offense.
