For crossfire rename the exe to AFR-friendlyd3d.exe. That will get it working. That brought my score from 5K up to 12212 on my aging 5870's.
 
Is it OK to run in Windows 8? I'm on the laptop in my signature (I know the score will be terrible, I'm just curious), but whenever I try I get a message telling me the program has stopped working.
