Catylst drivers fail

Hi, my catylst drivers repeatedly fail. I've tried downloading the latest ones, as well as motherboard drivers. If I try to run the catylst control center I get a

"The application failed to initialise properly, click OK to terminate the applcation."

error.

Anyone got any ideas how this could be solved? Naturally, I'm not up for doing a complete windows re-install.

FYI I'm using a 9800 pro. I used to use an additional application for overclocking the thing, but It've completely unintalled it. I've removed every single Ati driver and application and re-installed them with the latest ones.

Thanks, guys.

Do you have the .NET Framework installed?

That's required for the CCCs to function.

Any idea how I stretch a background across the two monitors?

Havent found that feature yet.

ATI Tool is a useful ATI overclocking utility. Using it for my 9800 Pro atm.

I don't recall off the top of my head, but in the CCC, there's an option to span the desktop over two displays.
