what would you put on Fries?

Ketchup is #1 for French Fries. BBQ Sauce would be #2. Frosty is #3

Wrong wrong completely fuckin' dog shit wrong! On fries the order goes thusly... #1 Tabasco #2 malt vinegar #3 horseradish sauce

Whatever you do, keep your heathen fingers and fries out of the Frosty :^P

oh god...

Tabasco is nothing more than spicy ketchup... thus still ketchup. #1 still intact

malt vinegar is for FRIED FISH only!

horseradish sauce is for making all the other condiments look good. noone with a brain uses horseradish sauce for ANYTHING.

French Fries are at home in their natural habitat:

Lol at all the mustard lovers who bought into the Grey Poupon commercials.

Eating mustard doesn't make you any more sophisticated or mature. The whole "kids like ketchup" thing is the most idiotic argument I've heard, and for some reason I keep seeing that on ATOT. Kids also like soda, macaroni and cheese, cookies, chips, etc. Doesn't mean you have to stop enjoying those when you get older.

Ketchup is awesome when used judiciously. Great on fried potatoes of nearly every variety, onion rings, burgers, hot dogs, meat loaf, eggs... the list goes on. It also combines well with tabasco sauce, which gives a nice sweet and hot kick to a lot of foods.

Don't get me wrong, though - mustard is good, too. I like it more as an ingredient in foods than on them, though (notable exception is honey mustard, which I like on soft pretzels).

Wrong and wrong. Tabasco is spicy vinegar and malt vinegar is for fries in the rare times I eat fries.

I agree with everything you said except about Tabasco. Where are the tomatoes? By the way that is the ONLY way to eat a frosty.... 🙂

Oh and to answer the poll, Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise FTW!!!!

Yeah I know BBQ sauce has a ton of sugar in it, I just far prefer how it tastes over ketchup. Not sure what it is about ketchup that I dislike so much, maybe it's the vinegar flavor that gets covered up in BBQ sauce by the other spices.

I like 57 sauce too. Anything but ketchup.

Oh, I agree. i like BBQ sauce, and don't really like the sweet stuff. I also really like tartar sauce, but consider mayonnaise an abomination--moreso than catsup. I think it's great on fries.

I would never tarnish fries with the gastlyness that is catsup. disgusting. Fries don't need anything--if they are good fries. But they're a "delivery source" food if anything. You don't need catsup to eat them, you just want something to accompany your catsup.

For this, I stick with hot sauce usually, or some tasty mustard or BBQ.

You're crazy, ketchup is heavenly on brats and you can't eat fries without it. Really though ketchup on mac & cheese is out of this world. It makes my potatoes extra creamy. My eggs divine. My dearest ketchup what would I do without you on my cheese? On hot dogs? Oh that goes without saying! Emm even on macaroni and butter ketchup completes the taste.

And you're all fools if you limit yourself to just one for a mustard and ketchup combo on a burger, fries or hotdog is as good as it gets.

D😀: abominable! Dirty Harry does not approve.

You would also be kicked out of Chicago for suggesting such a wicked, vile breach of food decorum. Catsup has no place on hotdogs.

period!

You know who else puts ketchup on Brats, Mac & Cheese, Eggs, Hot Dogs?? Children. They have no development in their tastebuds either.

basically. Ketchup is used by kids b/c they can't taste anything else. They want to mask the flavor of food which they are oversensitive to, and can't quite distinguish. Catsup is mild, sweet, easy to tolerate for an immature taste.

I knew people growing up that would only ever eat their steak, eggs, whatever with fucking catsup. it tells me that they never allowed themselves to experiment when they got older--they are stuck in their childhood taste profile, and have yet to realize that such things taste vastly different than when they were young. People need to be more curious as they get older, realize that childhood habits should not define their lives. These people would only ever eat steak overcooked to cardboard texture, as well. D:

I kind of think that those who hate things like raisins and olives into adulthood probably haven't tried them past the age of 4. Refusal to leave childhood, experiment, and explore new things.
