I have thousands of dollars worth of furniture in my living room. Nice 10ft couch, Huge clamshell recliner, 50" Plasma tv with wires up the crapper behind the tv stand............ No problems hither with any of my "6" cats messing with anything.
I like a "non" crap scent when I walk into my house from a days work.

To you Mr Bob---- 1... No need to take a cat hiking. 2... Train a dog to use a litter box? Like a cat using a toilet? **LMAO** it's been done but we're talking mainstream/normal pet owners here. 3... Your third comment is that it's easy to train a dog to piss/crap outside? Sure is.

Hopefully you're awake whe the mutt has to take a sheet Pilgrim. And if you have friends over, hope they don't step in your dog's CRAP and bring it inside!

"1... No need to take a cat hiking."
- Never said you needed it, just saying you normally cant. It is fun going on hikes/camping with real animals.

"2... Train a dog to use a litter box? Like a cat using a toilet?"
- I dont think a dog would be easy to train to use the toilet, but litter box is cake. I would rather have them go outside than in the same shiit spot every time.

"Hopefully you're awake whe the mutt has to take a sheet Pilgrim. And if you have friends over, hope they don't step in your dog's CRAP and bring it inside! "
- They hold it until they cant anymore, and then bark until someone lets them outside, or they can use a dog door.

cats are great for old people that cant handle a real animal like a dog

Well, I've never seen a cat eating dog ******, but a dog will eat a cat's ****** if you turn your back, then come give you a big sloppy tongue bath.

Oh well, call me crazy, but , no thanks, you can have your " real animal".

Either you've never owned a dog, or you've never owned a good one.

According to your calculation, Cats do indeed suck and I agree.

Cats piss on the furniture, just before they slash it up and run up the curtains.

CATS SUCK.

I would promote giraffe up the chain a bit more, because i saw one sneeze on a guy once, and it was the funniest thing ive ever witnessed.

no, there really wasnt any kind of warning (i.e. fangs, hissing, paw smack, sudden movement, etc.). i do like cats though, which is why i was petting it. they have another cat now which lets you hold it upside down in the palms of your hands (its full grown too). its kinda funny. its a much nicer one than their other cat.

If you're at the hissing, paw swipes, fang baring stage with a cat, you've already gone beyond "annoyed" into "pissed" territory, because you missed the first subtle signs. Pay attention to the tail, the eyes.

I'd like to see that, I bet it's hilarious. Kinda like seeing somebody get spit on by a camel.

..never a good idea to stick your face within bite/scratch distance of any animal. Their not huggy dolls.

Both my cats respond to their names. One even learned the other one's name and gets jealous if you say it too much.

My cats always respond when they hear their names.

I love both dogs and cats but must confess to being a bit partial to the felines. There are 4 living here and they each have such different personalties and responses to the people who live here with them.

We had a cat that used to guard our house. When we were away she wouldn't let our grandma (who lived across the street) into the house to drop off the mail.
