But way to ignore the fact that women are allowed to abandon their child without notification of the father. I guess he doesnt get rights to the child even after it is born.

And what state requires that father be notified of the birth of his child?
 
Does the Catholic Church not buy insurance plans that cover things such as drugs to treat sexually transmitted diseases, suppositories, colonoscopies / rectal examinations, etc.?

It's not a get out of parenthood free card. It's control of your own body card, men get it too. Women can't force men to carry a baby either.

No, if men don't get special 'get out of parental responsibility free' cards then women can't have control over their own bodies. We have to give extra, special rights to men, all in the name of equality.

Nope I did not say that.

A woman can control her own body as long as she is responsible for the consequences of the choices she makes about it and does not impose the consequences of those choice on others.

So, no state requires a man to provide for their unborn child. But you want states to require women to provide their own uterus for their unborn child?

You also appear entirely ignorant of the plethora of contraceptive devices available to men.

Have you ever had basic sex education? Have you ever had an actual relationship with a real woman?

I didnt say that. She is free to abort it. She just cannot force a man to be responsible for her choice to not abort it.

I wouldnt exactly call a condom a plethora. And all contraceptive devices have failure rates. The ones most reliable methods are only available to women.

Which brings up a good point. What if a woman says she is on the pill, but is not? Should the man still be responsible in that case?

Men already have the exact same right. If they are the legal guardians of a baby, they may also use the safe haven law. Your ignorance of basic principles of the laws you cite is no excuse for hating women.

Contraceptive foam. Contraceptive gel. Freely available for purchase by both genders.

That's irrelevant. Men and women who are legal guardians of a child have equal rights to use the safe haven law. Then you demand additional male specific benefits in order to 'allow' women to have control over their bodies. You continue to ask for loads of special extra rights for men, why are you so against equality?

No, it's a special right. Women simply have control over their bodies, you want men to have a special extra right in addition to having control over their bodies. This is not hard to understand, so I'm not sure what you aren't grasping.

As for why men are not automatically 1/2 the legal guardian of a child, all I can ask is how stupid are you? You know the mother is one of the parents because the kid came out of her. The only thing you have initially is people's word that the man is the father. How dumb would our legal system have to be to accept that? A father is absolutely entitled under the law to establish paternity with all the same rights to custody as anyone else.

You are saying a man does not automatically become the legal guardian of a child.

So why does automatically pick up responsibilities.

The right to not have your child given away to the state without your knowledge or consent is hardly a "special" right". It is inherent to be a parent.

Women have the right to force men to support an unwanted child. Men do not have the right to force women to support an unwanted child.
