Even if he dies a Darwin Award isn't quite in order, he wasn't likely to have kids anyway...
You mean he wasn't likely to have fathered any kids. ;)
In a manner of speaking, he may have "had" kids.

you're late. this should have been the first or second post in the thread.
I'm terribly sorry. I'll do better next time.

Would Catholic priests be disqualified from Darwin Awards by default?

Haha, on several levels.

I don't know. The Pope officially embraced evolution what...8 years ago? I believe this was only a few weeks before pardoning Galileo.

My question is why did mythbusters waste so much time trying to see if its possible when its been done already. (The guy in Oregon last year for example, and he wasnt the first)

Because they're idiots who are simply trying to entertain people. I don't know why events which are well documented are referred to as "myths." I do find it really funny when they conclude that "myth confirmed" for something that has actually occurred.

That like the "myth" the did to see if a person jumping on top of a live grenade would actually save the people around him. I wanted to call them and tell them to go read some medal of honor reports from WWII onward. Like I have a book about Vietnam War MOH winners, and a lot of the recipients jumped on grenades to save their friends.

Strangely enough the concluded the myth was confirmed and it could happen

well its not just entertainment. people like to see the process of confirming the myth.
