Catalyst Drivers Disappeared?

Hi. I own a W500 with the FireGL V5700. Its plays well in games like TF2 with the latest catalyst drivers. However, when I booted up TF2 today, I found out that the Drivers for Catalyst had vanished. The catalyst installer also didn't find any trace of the driver in the system. I used CCleaner to clean my computer and tried to reinstall Catalyst. However after the driver restarts the computer after it installs, it does the entire set up thing with cmd. However after it finishes booting, there is no indication that anything has happened and the catalyst folder in C: is empty.

How do I fix this problem?

Running Windows Vista Ultimate

Download the latest drivers from ATI website. Go to add and remove and use the ATI utility to remove the ATI software. Reboot and install the latest drivers from ATI website. Then try to open the Catalyst Control Center and verify install.

The problem is that the ATi utility doesn't recognize that there'rs anything on the computer and says there are no drivers installed, so I uninstalled the CCC install manager using add/remove programs. The latest drivers just refuse to install.

Driver Sweeper.

Okay, I tried it, with fresh drivers downloaded from Lenovo's website. Then CCC told me that the drivers were incompatible with my graphics card.

You must use the drivers provided by the laptop manufacturer. ATI does not support laptops with their drivers.

Do you have the original drivers that came with your W500?

I've been downloading the Lenovo drivers for the W500. It worked fine for a while, and then suddenly disappeared.
