Catalyst Control Center: Where?

I downloaded it. I right click on open space in desktop and nothing. I click on Start/Program Files and nothing happens. Wizard, Advanced, whatever I click on nothing happens. What gives? XP32, 785G,

Use your RUN command and then browse to the downloaded .exe file for Catalyst and run it. You should find it whereever you saved the download to.

Thanks for the reply, Corky.
I have downloaded and installed the Catalyst Control Center two times now. It acts like it is installing and it finally asks me to register. It appears on the list of Program Files (Program Files/ATI Technologies etc ). When I click on it nothing happens. The hourglass appears and flickers, but that is all. When I right click on the desktop the panel appears giving me the options of CCC, arrange icons, properties, etc. When I click on CCC nothing happens.

did you try uninstalling it, restarting, and then reinstalling?
do you have visual studio 2008 installed?
revo uninstaller + old school driversweeper safe mode restart as last hope
may I inquire as to why you are using XP?

Yes, I have uninstalled, installed, reinstalled, stalled, etc. If ATI was on the ball I shouldn't have to use Revo or Driversweeper, etc. I knew there was a reason I preferred Nvidia all these years.
I use XP on this machine because it is what I have and everything else works fine. I have Vista on another machine. It works fine. ATI lists XP as an option when downloading CCC so they at least pay lip service to supporting it.
If you Google this subject you will see there are quite a few instances of people having same problem.
