Wow! How stable are these beta drivers generally? I used to use the Forceware beta drivers when they came out and they were fine, but ATI doesn't officially release theirs, do they?

These drivers don't have a Catalyst_Version in the inf file, so it uses the last version installed. It be changed in the registry by adding that string word.

Strange. My 3DMark Vantage score went from 5925 to 6000 (this is with an overclock). Why did you get such a boost?

Tried the driver in NFS Shift and while it really shows up a performance improvement, "problematic" tracks have remained with important slowdowns, but I have the impression that they're not as bad as they were. I guess Electronic Arts also have to release their patch to fix this problem entirely.

Number1 was using 3dmark 2006 and not 3dmark Vantage. Maybe your 3dmark 2006 score will increase by as much?
