Catalyst 4.1's are out...

They don't effing install. Wonderful. Now I know what people were talking about with the bad drivers.

I am just not in the mood for this right now.

Update, I think maybe they actually did install. Under Device Manager driver properties it says the driver date is 12/12/03 and version 6.14.10.6414, but under the ATI control panel it says 4.1... What happened during installion was that upon rebooting it said that no ATI drivers were installed and Control Panel couldn't open. Anybody else get this? And could you confirm those driver numbers?

EDIT-Well, according to the install file, that is the right version number... Whatever. I shall benchmark only if I see large enough changes for others.

Installed without problems, but I aways use Driver Cleaner to make sure old ones are all gone, played UT2003 and all was fine, very nice image quality(up to ATi`s usual standard) so a thumbs up from me 🙂.

read the instuctions next time and uninstal both old control panel and drivers and then reboot before installing new ones. 😉

ohh and you should probably do that now as installing ati drivers over the top of eachother can lead to big trouble.

geez dude... I was just installed Omega 3.10 a couple of days ago -___-
so, any improvement over Cat3.x? any new features added?

The drivers work fine but the standalone control panel appears to be corrupted and won't install. Does anybody else have this problem?
