Installed and it's working great. Had to reboot for fan control to work again in Afterburner on my Vapor-X HD5850 (no biggie).

People arent serously updating their graphics drivers 12 times a year...are they?

I expect that upgrade pattern to make more of a mess than fix stuff really.

Im still rocking the same drivers as the card came with. When i see a glitch or an error or the very seldom black/blue screen, i just ignore it. Its likely to not happen again as i dont do "repeat the exact same movement/jump/whatever in your game"?

I update every month ie every official release, does not take long and never had any issues installing over the top on Win7 x64.

I usually upgrade all three PCs each time. Although sometimes the other PCs may skip a month or two... usually because of laziness 😛.

Some people do. Myself, I'm mostly in the "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" mindset.

I'm running 10.8 I think, the last driver release that had significant performance increases for the 5K series cards.

I only do if I remember. I never seem to notice any difference between releases. AMD now has a monthly check thing in the new drivers that tells you a new release is out.

Its about bug fixes too,one of reasons why I always update since I never know what game I will be buying next.

I upgrade when I notice the new drivers are out. Also AMD users who use Stream will be getting updates on a regular basis as well.

I am running the 11.5b, last I ran was 11.3, I also don't update all the time.

I am not sure if this is new to 11.6 but I did not notice it in the past. There is an "Apply current video quality settings to Internet video" and it makes flash contents look much better. I confirmed it in IE9 and Opera 11.11. The default video settings look real good as well.

I have this using the 11.5b drivers.

How can you tell? Anyone have a comparison screen?

Are you serious? I've tossed the driver CD for every video card I've ever bought.
