Isn't the problem mainly for folks with the 5xxx cards? 9.12, 10.1 and 10.2 all have run well for my 4890 under Win7 x64 Ultimate.

You forget drivers are not just for one model only,I always give my opinion on every new driver released regardless.

Anyone have any insight to this issue?

I moved to 10.2 from 9.8 and now I see a lot of corrupted textures, like my car in NFS shift has grey lines going across it and the ground in Crysis has a static-y shifting overlaid image. I'll take screenshots if need be.

My memory and core are not overclocked. My card is an HIS 4890.

If I want to install 9.8 back on, can I install right over the 10.2? I just want to check if that fixes the texture issues, if not, maybe I should RMA this card?

You can just do a driver rollback if you want. Go to device manager.(On Vista or 7, Press windows key, type device manager, push enter) Go to Display Adaptors, right click on your video card and click properties. Click the driver tab and click Roll Back Driver.

Right click on my computer, click properties. One of the tabs should have a button that says device manager. I forget exactly which one, been a while since I used XP.

Don't want to jinx it, but I haven't crashed once (1 day so far) on desktop under idle loads after disabling Aero Desktop and using basic. Thought I read about people trying that and failing, but I can live without Aero if I have to.

I just downloaded the 10.2 catalyst drivers.
Uninstalled previous 10.1 drivers from control panel and double click the 10.2 exe.

My wow has become unstable with the 10.2 drivers compared to 10.1. It has stalled like 4 times today, and then the ATI feedback form pop's up and wants to send the error detail by email.

Can a user now create their own Crossfire profile? This would be huge for me if true. I may finally step away from nVidia for multi card gaming.
