I don't see anything about 2D/desktop crashes or grey screens.

Wtf? Enlarged mouse cursor is STILL an issue? Four months after release, great.

And Centered Timings still are not functional in Windows 7.

I have some rather choices expletives for how i feel about this.

does nothing about gray screen or flickering on 5700 same as 10.1

So far my xFx 5770 is running fine with these drivers. I am sitting at 900/1400 and have not had to create a profile to increase the idle settings at all. I will know more after it runs overnight.

Cenetered timings work, but are disabled by default...

Do a search on my posts, I wrote a workaround a while ago...

My 5770 ran overnight after some L4d2 and TF2 action. (It was overclocked using CCC to 960/1400) The 900/1400 was a typo. My monitor went to sleep and woke up fine and I have seen zero flickering like the 10.1 and eventually the beta2 drivers caused. I hope this keeps up.

I do hope it fixes the monitor sleep, that was really pissing me off. I'm thinking it might even be why on occasion the comp freezes in sleep like state.

Anyway, has anyone ever experienced where it seems the card is rendering things in slow mo? I installed them last night, did the couple of reboots necessary, then played BC2. Everything was slow and well behind the sound of the action. So having seen this once or twice before I rebooted and it solves it every time. Just really weird.

I bitched to AMD/ATI about the 2D crashing, and the tech reply was that the new drivers (10.2) should fix it. Then again, it's a generic reply, so not sure how much I can rely on it.

As a parting gift, right before I logged in as admin to uninstall 10.1, the driver crashed and recovered. I hope it's gone...

Now why is the mouse cursor such a hard issue to fix and so hit and miss.

Ummm, they work for me. Enabling them is a nice process of dicking about though. You have to change your resolution to something lower before the settings become available, and the GPU scaling options are hidden, almost like they don't want you to find them. There's also this little fixer app that worked for me in 9.12. Skipped 10.1 and now with 10.2 I was able to get centered timings through CCC using the lower resolution trick.

Run a gpu clock program and see what your 2d clocks are showing up as my are still 167 or what ever runs for a like 4 mins and locks up.

Hopefully we get a release soon that is just dedicated to making features work and fixing glitches.

I think we'll have to wait till after 10.3 since they've got to deliver on what was promised first. Not that there's anything stopping them from adding fixes to 10.3, but I think they'll probably have their hands full just making sure the new features don't cause more bugs.

Reading some reviews seems the new 10.2 drivers give a healthy boost to some games particularly to dirt 2.

I'm going to install it today since doesn't seem like it breaks anything new and everything I've read is positive.
