CAT5 cables

All the cables that I make do not snap into the connectors. They work, but the don't snap, they just chill in the hole(haha tank 😉. Is this normal with home made cables? Do my heads just suck? Crimper problem? Am I shoving too much of the casing into the head?

Thanks

David

Maybe it is the connectors you are using. I have made 50 or 60 cables in the last few days and every one went in and snapped. Where did you get the connectors.

On a lot of the ones I make the crimper mashes the little clip down a bit, pull it back up slightly and they will "snap" and lock into place.
