Cat!!!

🙁 The last picture of a cat I took, the cat had just been killed by two dogs from down the road. Our neighbors had 4 cats that were missing; I found one on our property, and thought at first that perhaps it had been hit by a car and managed to get to where I found it before dying. My dogs were going nuts yesterday afternoon - the kind of barking that says, "get outside, now." I went out the front door, heard all sorts of commotion in the bushes on the other side of the road, and went to investigate. Two dogs came out, one with another of our neighbor's cats in its mouth. It dropped the cat in the road and ran off. It was too late to do anything to save the cat, it was already dead.

Neighbors called the sheriff; were referred to dog control officer. Dog control officer came & fined the family with the dogs - it wasn't the first time there were complaints.

it's funny, one of my cats got more active as she got older. She also eats more.

if they can't fence them in, maybe they should just ban them from owning dogs.
 
What are the benefits and negatives of having a cat. Dogs aren't allowed in this building and since cats don't need to go through security everyday, they don't care.
 
My cat sleeps I toil away at office. My Fiancee's cat lays down by the sliding door that goes to the back deck... she watches always birds and squirrels and rabbits and ocasional groundhog or raccoon.
 
My sister has a couple pix of my kitty from circa 1980. She passed away in 1991. she was 15 years old and was an orange tabby.

I miss her very much.
