Poor critter just went nuts.
Either that, or they mistakenly put him in the new lobster steamer they just bought.
Last time I needed to give one of my cats a bath was after he caught, killed, and ate a mouse. He was a bit of a bloody mess, so it was into the shower with him. He didn't appreciate it much, but he only complained audibly when I'd pick him up to get him back under the water, but he always grumbles when he's picked up. Once I'd put him back down, he'd run back to the shower door and paw frantically at it. As soon as I held him again, he just calmed right down. His pupils were still huge, but he really didn't try to fight me, nor did he totally freak out like the cat in the video.
Once out of the shower, he seemed to get over the whole experience pretty quickly.

the difference between a dog and a cat, is that a dog would just huddle there and endure it while looking piteously at his owner, whereas it's clear the cat is contemplating what valuable posession he will destroy to compensate him for this indignation.
Dogs are too stupid to suspect human owners of being malicious.

Dogs assume, "Duh, what's going on? Oh well, they know what they're doing."
Cat thinks, "OH GOD THEY'RE FINALLY TRYING TO KILL ME! I'M SORRY!!!! LEMME OUT!!!"
Alternately, cat may think, "They're trying to kill me. First I will kill this machine, then they're next. All of them."
