Cat people are more mature than dog people....

I used to hate cats and love dogs. I find myself growing in fond of cats. I feel that it is somehow linked to my maturity.

I'd take cats any day over dogs.

Partly because I'm just not a dog person...and partly because I'm obsessed with lolcats.

It's not maturity... it's laziness. Don't feel like going home? No biggie... kitty will poop in his box and eat out of his gravity feeder.

Dog owners have much more responsibility.

Cats rock, they dont lick themselves anywhere near as much, plus you have to work for their affection. They dont smell either (litter boxes when clean properly have 0 smell, that means 1for each cat +1 and daily scooping)

Thats why they would rather give up their pet than have them declawed...
That was the same guy who cut the end of his penis off so he didn't have to wash it every day.

Yea, cats are fine until it jumps onto something and causes trouble. We had a cat when
I was a kid, one day I came home and cooked a burger, left the pan on the stove and
our cat jumped onto the range to lick the grease. This was one of those old GE stoves
with the push-buttons and he pressed the "HI" button, I had fallen asleep only to be awoken
to a raging grease fire!, thank god we had a FE handy and I was able to put it out..

I have a big dog and 2 cats. The dog isn't too bright, he lets the cats pick on him. He is much more work than the cats.

You do realize that noone owns a cat.
A cat owns you.

I love that about them.
They do absolutely what they want, when they want.
I love the look a cat gives you when you tell it do something.
its like " You want ME to do that, hrm, nah I don't think so, maybe later"

I also love that stretch they do when they wake up and start to walk.
Its so personal, stretch the back leg, then stretch out the front legs, kinda bend down, then start walking.

I had two hunting dogs and a big cat for a time. Cats are cruel. The damn thing would tease my German Shorthair mercilessly up to the point of an impending scuffle, then make her escape through her trap door into the basement.
