Does your cat let you scratch of rub its stomach?
Most cats I've seen usually try to scratch or bite you when you try to... except for mine, it enjoys it...

Both my cats will basically fall over and put their legs in the air to let you scratch their bellies. In fact, I just clipped both cat's claws and they were totally cool with it as long as I scratched their bellies between paws.

Edit: they also really like it if you rub/scratch the area right between their front legs - the more pressure the better.

Silly n00b. Cats don't have owners, they have caretakers.

One of my cats absolutely loved it, and would often lay on her back to allow for more belly rubs.
The other would tolerate it just fine for a few seconds, then abruptly move to gently bite the offending hand. But then he'd lay back down and start purring while rubbing the side of his head on the ground.

Mine will go on her back like a dog and give you the look that she wants a belly rub, but it's a trap. She starts to bite and paw if you start to rub her. She often just lies down on her back too, it's funny. What makes me laugh though is I can play with her tail all I want and she does not care. Most cats hate when you touch their tail.

I can't help myself when she's sleeping. I abruptly just start rubbing her belly, and she fucks me up big-time. I'm still bleeding.

My cat will put up with it for about 30 seconds, then tires of it, and shoves his paw underneath my hand. Pretty much forces it out from between his front legs, and back in the vicinity of his face, where he prefers to be rubbed.

That's while I'm in bed, and he's lying on top of the covers, enjoying his end of the day attention. Otherwise, try for his belly, and he will grab your hand, bite, and go after your with his back paws. Luckily, he's never figured out that he can extend those back paw claws, and rake someone/something badly with them!!
