It's 2:30 a.m.

You WERE in bed until you were woken up by a whining sound coming from outside. You get up and look outside only to realize that it's a starving cat. You feel sympathetic, but at the same time you realize that your neighborhood is WAY overpopulated with cats. You feel too lazy to feed it or chase it away, but it's keeping you up.

What would YOU do?

I have two old computers that make more noise than a muscle car at a dragway. I usually shut them off at night just so I can sleep!

go outside and feed it, then maybe someday when you fall into a trap the cat will come back and say "you helped me once, now I'll help you" and fly you out and give you treasure and magic.

Because the cat talks? Because it mentions "treasure and magic" perhaps? It reminds me of one too. If it's me in the game, however, (and if I get my favorite DM), I'd slaughter the cat with my Ogre axe, eat it with some blood wine, use the skin for a water skin, and get bad kharma for the rest of the game.

Chase it away tonight. Tomorrow b!tch at your neighbors to feed your cats. Same night if it cries again feed it. Next day call humane society or a similiar organization and report the people for abuse.

stupid cats keep pooping and fighting in our backyard. I should take out my g36 airsoft gun and tech them a lesson

Because it is such a problem, the humane society will not deal with stray cats. If you don't know who owns it, you're SOL.

Don't feed it unless you want it to keep coming back to you every time it is hungry. Chase it off and it'll go find some food elsewhere.

Are you sure it's starving? It's just about time for cats to be in heat. Maybe it wants a lil kevinthenerd love?

I'd feed it. And if it kept coming around I'd probably end up adopting it. I tend to be a sucker for stray animals.
