Cat is sick :(

my familes cat has recently got sick, and wasnt eatting - took to the vet, and took some tests and could not find out whats wrong (checked for the most harmful) and the vet couldnt find anything - so they gave the cat some shots to keep it healthly and what not

so now we are waiting for it to get better, but thing is - it isnt and the vet doesnt know whats wrong! drives at me nuts when we pay so much money just for a vet not to know what is going on.

Now the cat is getting skinny, and doesnt eat much and my grandmother has to give it water with a dropper...

we have had the cat for a few years. This is quite sad, it is the most lovey cat 🙁

Anyone have any input that the vet couldnt do? or some experience?

UPDATE:::::

Well last weekend (been to busy to update!) i saw my kitty cat, and it was very very skinny, and would not eat from my grandma.

So i got in the car, open the cage, and he came to me and laid in my lap. So i decided to get some treats out and TRY to feed him - not force. Well anyways i am sitting there and he started eatting out of my hand. i ask, "so he hasnt ate at all?" the only reply i got was "no". Well from then on, he got so much better!!! I never felt that good holding something like that, knowing it was going to be ok, and it started with the help of me.

I nursed him back to life you could say that whole weekend, and now is up and running again!!!

🙂

I have a cat that had those symptoms - had a blockage in his intestins - almost died! Cost $1500, but was woth it.

If they car about the cat at all - get a second opinion. Who gave the recommendation? Get a second opinion on vets too.

If they won't at least do that, put the poor creature out of it's misery before it gets too bad.
