Cats are a no no for me. I'll admit I'm not a cat person. But I do find them cute. The real problem for me is this:

if I'm around cats for more than an hour or two I start scratching all over, tearing up, and sneezing like theres no tomorrow. If I'm around them for days I start to get all stuffed up an end up wheezing as I struggle to breath properly. I often feel like clawing my eyeballs out with a rake because they itch so much.

I seriously hope that I'm not also allergic to dogs as I REALLY love them. I developed this allergy after our pet dog died some years ago so it's possible that I may be allergic to dogs 🙁 🙁 🙁

What is it about cats, and paper bags?? My cat swears up and down there's something hiding at the bottom of any paper bag he finds!! Of course, my scratching the bottom of the bag probably doesn't help, but I've seen him take a 10 foot run, and jump paws & head first into a paper bag lying on the floor...... which then skidded 5 feet across the floor, and thumped into something!! :awe:
