Cat and brood of kittens setup house under shed *Pics*

The mother is apparently afraid of humans and runs underneath with all the kittens if I go outside. You can see how deep they go under in the pic since I barely got a glimpse of one kitten. I saw 4 kittens this morning and grabbing my cam going outside they ran under immediately. I'll try to get pics of them later from inside the house. Unfortunately my good digicam is on lend so these pics are the best I can do for now.

What am I going to do with them?

If you can catch them, I'd take the mom in to get spayed. The kittens could then be adopted. Or you could wait a bit and have them all spayed and let them live in your backyard. We have 3 generations of stray cats living in out back yard. They are all spayed/neutered so there's no chance of them getting bigger.

Just buy the cheapest cat food you can find at Sams Club or something and feed them. Eventually they'll get used to you. We've been working on that for a year or so and now have 3 or 4 cats that will come right up to us for petting and such when we feed them.

This is outdated but here's some pictures: http://www.eventartistry.net/cats/

awwe...cute kitties.

my gf had some in a shack in her backyard. We fed them for a week but eventually notice the mother had abandoned them. (Maybe because we kept feeding them?) After that we gave them away to some friends.

Becareful you don't scare away the mom so that she abandons them.

Sardines....

open the can let them wiff it.....they won't be able to resist....

after you get to hand feed them a few times...they'll eventually trust you

My parents are doing the same thing -about 3 generations of cats living in their backyard. My dad feeds them cheap dry catfood & sometimes leftovers
