Anyone have any idea when they are releasing those? ATI stated there would be a fix for the the 9600 Series and Neverwinter Nights in this release. I got NWN for christmas and sure would like to play it :)!

Well, they are a month cycle for drivers. So, I'd say by the end of this month for SURE. Hopefully before Jan. 17th (30 days after the last release).

Actually, the next version should be Cat 4.0. The first number stands for the year, the second for the release that year (eg. 2003 --> Cat 3.x, second relaese in 2004 --> Cat 4.2)

Cool! Why didn't I think of that? I keep looking at those numbers and never knew what they mean. A driver numbering system that actually makes sense. Thanks for the info.

I thought the 3.10 Cats repaired the problem with NWN?

Playing the game Neverwinter Night under Windows XP with an ATI RADEON? 9600 series card installed results in the game failing to respond. The issue is already resolved and a fix will be made available in the next release of CATALYST?

Wait so you can't play NWN at all without a fix? Or you just aren't going to try?

It's not by public release date but by the date it is finalized for WHQL, methinks.

The reason that they did not make it to 12 is because they didn't start the 12 drivers realeases a year till well the middle of the year. I think back in 02 they only made it to Cat 2.4 or something.
