Post your proof, or you will be clearly exposed as someone who posts allegations without evidence.

IGBT, exposed as a liar who post allegations he has no evidence for.

No surprise coming from someone who sells illegal drugs to his local high school.

you love liars. You elected the Liar and Chief Bill Clinton. You should be proud. And he's an admitted druggie too.

I expected that this would be a wet dream circle jerk of the usual posters. What they are blind to is there own non reality based but idealogy based love of laisse faire capitalism. Both are extreme and in the end result in a small class controlling a majority of the prolitariat in the case of communism and the serfs in the case of capitalism.

Cuba to cut 500,000 gov't workers; reform salaries

HAVANA – Cuba says it will fire at least half a million state workers by mid-2011 and will free up private enterprise to help them find new work - radically remaking employment on the communist island.

The layoffs will start immediately and run through the first half of next year, according to an announcement Monday by the nearly 3 million-strong Cuban Workers Confederation - the only labor union the government tolerates.

To soften the blow, it said the government would authorize simultaneous increases in job opportunities in the non-state sector, allowing more Cubans to become self-employed, to form cooperatives run by employees rather than government bureaucrats and to increase private control of state land and infrastructure through long-term leases.

BBC says it's one million.

Also neat fact "Cuba's communist government currently controls almost all aspects of the country's economy and employs about 85% of the official workforce, which is put at 5.1 million people.".

I still think small scale communism can work, no larger than a couple hundred people. any larger than that and it falls apart. country size is doomed to failure.

hahaha, there will never be a utopian society...ever. The reason is simple: we, humans, seek self-esteem through selfish means. War, patriotism, consumerism, materialism, you name it. That, and we are too corruptible. There is not a single system, capitalist or communist, which is not corrupt at some level.

Even Karl Marx at the end of his life said he did not believe in Marxism

well, he did spend his life as an essentially penniless drifter sleeping on Engels' couch, constantly borrowing money and never paying him back, pissing off everyone and contradicting just about everything he wrote about.

The big surprise is countries like Venezuela, go to communism.

Now that Cuba bows, maybe Venezolanos can kick butt.
