I am stuck in this game. Its a good game so far but I am about to the point to where I want to quit with it and move on. I been all around the castle and there is several paths I haven't been in because I am blocked by either a gate that has a switch on the other side or there is a gap in the wall but not wide enough for me to jump through. The last thing I did was beat the red haired dude and got to a place where you switch around a bunch of numbers to open different paths.

Sorry if non of this makes sense but I don't know how else to explain it. I know its something simple but I just can't figure it out.

I'll give it a look but it will probably take me 30mins to pinpoint where I need to go next. I am completely lost.

See the thing about these games is that they are mostly non-linear in which you can go anywhere in the castle you want to, as long as you have the abilities to get there

Bat form gets you passed those little holes in the walls. Batform is gained from one of the bosses. So I don't believe you can miss it.

Actually the first time you go through one is with the puppet ability you get. When you're stuck like that and you can't get trhough anywhere you may have missed a boss somewhere that would get you the ability you need to proceed further on. I think there were a couple points in this game where you need souls from certain regular monsters to proceed to a new part. As other people said, a walkthrough would probably be much more helpful given the open ended nature of the game.
