So if you don't know, Castle is a TV show starring Nathan Fillion from Firefly. He plays an author who is following around a female detective (Stana Katic) because he is writing a book based on her. He helps solve crimes with her as well. Cool mix of comedy, action, police drama type show.

Anyway, the latest episode is like the Halloween episode and it starts out with him dressed as a "space cowboy", basically his Firefly character! So awesome!

Aww, not up to that ep yet. 2 episodes behind, watching the next one today.

The show is pretty good so far. It's a little better than "Life" (mostly because of Fillion) and much better then "The Mentalist" (shows with similar premise that I've watched)

yeah, this is the 1st time i saw any thing like this so far, and it's several episodes in of the 2nd season.

it's an awesome show and I think its mostly because of Fillion.

That was great. And when he came out his daughter told him to let it go, that was like 5 years ago, I laughed.

BTW I think Stana Katic is every bit as good as Filion on the show.
I was SO hoping when she popped open her coat she was going to be dressed as "Nikki Heat" but I laughed at Miss Piggy anyway.
Except they have to get their act together. She goes out on cop calls in high heels and it just looks ridiculous.

And the daughter is growing up nicely. She just turned 16 in real life, and you can really see the difference in her from last year.

yea he makes the show. Plays his character great and the humor works very well. My favorite thing about this show is that it is a crime/investigative drama/comedy with absolutely NO CSI "enhance that picture/instant fingerprint" bullshit.

Hmm, I'll just necro this thread instead of making a new one...

I just blasted through Castle season 1 through 3 in the past two weeks or so, and it's not too bad. When I was a few episodes into season 3, I told a guy that watches the show, "These people seem to have no idea of what a season finale should entail." All he said was, "wait until the end of season 3." Now I know what he meant... they finally learned what a cliffhanger is!

As a FYI, season 4 starts next Monday.

As for season 4, I'm hoping Beckett is back to her season 1 hairstyle. Even without it, Stana Katic is so damn gorgeous. :wub::wub::wub:

Yes! Yes! Yes! I wholeheartedly agree with this assessment of Stana Katic. I'm also sad because we don't have cable anymore. So no more Monday Night Castle.

When this first came out, I didn't understand all the fuss about Nathan Fillion. Nathan Who?
Is/was he in a rock band or something?
I had never seen or heard of Firefly...
(which is a great, but cheesy show. I was disappointed to find out that it only ran one season)
