I don't like Cindy Sheehan, but I think it's smart of her not to put a headstone on her son's grave yet. It could very possibly be vandalized. She is one of those extreme figures who most people either love or hate and I don't think she wants people to know where her son is buried.

But I don't think any should judge Cindy Sheehan, she lost her son, so she is not in a position to be able to think logically, so you shouldn't judge the things she says or take them seriously. She has some some very extremely stupid things, but I don't expect her to think logically.

Ok, time to buy a clue.

It's been years now. Sure you are allowed time to grieve. Time for her to take her medication and get on with life. If she can't cope then it's time for her to fall off the face of society or get help with her illness.

The fact that she doesn't makes her even more of a lowlife, scumsucking dirtbag.

The lady is certifiably insane and needs some serious help/intervention and quite frankly it disgusts me the way she is behaving and acting. She is thinking very logically and rationally - "how can I milk this for all its worth"

Face it lady, your 15 minutes were over a long time ago. Time to get back to reality....it's over!

It never ceases to amaze my how heated people will get over politics and religion.

That said, if I were in those shoes I'd without a doubt get a head stone for my fallen child's grave.

He would. AFAIK, all she has to do is put in a request for a veteran's headstone. It's those little white ones you see on soldier's graves.

And that's not couting the $250k check the USG cut her, which is the real point of this article since she went out and bought all sorts of things including a VW Bug but not a headstone for her son's grave.

1. He's dead he really doesn't care.
2. Her anti-war campaign is her headstone to her son.
3. She is a ranting liberal anti Bush kook.
4. She is not in the news anymore so it really doesn't matter.

Sums it up for me.

All veterans are entitled to a headstone from the US Government so "W" will provide it if she takes time out of her very busy schedule to fill out the form.

This is a bit Off-Topic, but for those saying that a headstone is a way to honor the fallen what do you do in the case that the person is creamated? Do you buy a plaque? This is actually a serious question as I plan to be creamated after I die (after they take my organs and give them to others so that they can live) and know members in my family that wish to be creamated. I would like to know another way of honoring those that are gone. The best equivalent I can come up with would be an inscription on the urn. But after ashes are spread I don't really think I would have an urn sitting around. Suggestions?

Edit: Spelling

His mother obviously hasn't bothered to fill out the paperwork. She took that $250k and ran though.

True, but she's not hot, so it's okay to say any asshole thing about her that comes to mind. Right guys?

That's been pointed out a couple of times now and the complainers seem to be overlooking it.

Although I personally don't understand one thing: If this woman believed that the war was unjust, shouldn't she refuse the monetary payment out of principal? I mean, when you get right down to it, it's blood money. She's saying the war is unjust, we shouldn't be there, W is a liar, but yet she's more than happy to take the handout.

I think her position would be much stronger if she hadn't taken the money in the first place.

Wow, quite possibly the most idiotic thing I have heard today.

You didn't answer my question, but in a way, you did.

I already did my time. How about you?
