Cases with psu at bottom

Hey quick question is there any reason to not have the psu at the bottom of the case? Is it better to have it at the top and if so why? Looking at getting the Antec p182 and someone mentioned they would rather have it at the top

IMO, it doesn't really matter whether its top or bottom.
My PSUs on my rigs are at the top, but some of my friends' LL's have their's at the bottom with no concerns.
It's a matter of choice.

Some motherboards have issues with bottom mounted psu's because of the placement of the power connections. Make sure you do your research and if you plan on buying a bottom mount case, make sure your psu cables can reach your power connections of your motherboard. If your cables don't reach extensions are also available. Top or bottom - depends on personal preference.

Totally right. Do your research. I hate PSU's on the bottom becasue you can see more of the cables rather than when it's on top you can hide the cables better.

The one advantage to a bottom PSU is that the airstream for the PSU can be isolated thus preventing its fan from ever spinning up. So you may get less total noise.

I have read in posts by other P180 owners that if you have a P180 with an Antec power supply, Antec will send you the extension for free.
