Cases with front panel locks and 120mm fans.

I'm thinking about moving my wifes pc into my Antec Aria (just doesn't seem to have the cooling power for a P4 3.0, 6800, and be cool and quiet) and getting a new case. Other than the Antec Sonata, what other cases have all buttons behind a front panel that can be locked and have 120mm fan mounts?

Want to keep the little ones from shutting off the pc, ejecting the cd, etc. while keeping things relatively quiet. I originally bought the aria to get my pc off the floor where little hands couldn't press buttons.

Lian-Li V1100 and V2100 have STRONG locking doors on them... Besides being heavy doors (harder for the little ones to open), they have more positive retention mechanisms than the Antec cases. The V1100 has a pair of 120mm fans, is VERY quiet, high quality construction and more. It's the best case I've ever used, and I've used some real good ones before.

Thanks, Akira. Very nice cases. Unfortunately, the same little one who liked to push the buttons also takes some of the money for buying nice cases.

You can get the V1100 for just over $200 these days... The V2000 isn't much more than that (under $300).

Put the little ones to work to help pay for the new case... 😉

Unfortunately, the only thing my little one is good at is finding things that other little ones can get into. But, he's extremely good at that. My wife is looking for a Christmas present for me, though.

I'll second that. It's expensive but a very very nice case you'll want to hold onto for awhile so it's worth it in my opinion.

I plan on keeping mine until I no longer have parts that can go into it (if the ATX mobo standard goes away for Athlon64 powered systems). It looks like I'll be able to keep it for 3+ years easily. That makes the investment easier to take, and justify...

Also, as I mentioned, this is easily the best case I've ever used. Even compared to cases that cost twice as much, it kicks their a$$es.
