Is there any aluminum case (mid-tower, towers are WAY too hard to move) that supports at least 2-3 5.25" and 6 3.5" bays (internal, exluding floppy)

Antec Sonata (I think that it takes 4 3.5" ... it an awesome case but it's steel and not suited for you as you need more space ... hmm ... lets see, the thing is, the last time I was hunting for cases the most 3.5" slots in a mid-tower was 4 ... but I might be wrong ... I suppose you could always use 5.25" to 3.5" converters but don't know if that would do the trick for you.
By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what on eartch can you need 6 3.5" slots if you aren't running a server ... and I'm supposing that you aren't as you have to move the case around.

Take a look at Lian-Li cases, they are great performers and all are made of aluminum.

The Antec 1040 /1080 ect... style of case would support 6 3.5" drivers and 4 5.25" drives, and if you get an aluminum version it isn't to heavy and can support EATX boards in most cases. Hope this helps... 🙂

Lian-Li PC-60 series 3x5.25, 3x3.5 internal, 5x3.5 internal
teh Lian Li PC-7323 is a full tower but it has wheels and is easy to move: 6x5.25, 3x3.5 external, 6x3.5 internal

coolermaster Wavemaster does 4 5.25 and 8x3.5, 1 is for floppy for basically 7
