case support for new technology?

I need to get a new case pretty soon here. Going to probably grab one of the Steel chenming/chieftec, since I could care less about aluminum.

Anyhow, I was wondering

With things like PCI express, and the new processors coming out in the near future, are we going to have a new form factor change anytime soon?

(within 2 years?)


I don't want to buy a new case and then have the athlon 64/opteron/ PCI express motherboards change the form factor and make my new case obsolete.

 
Motherboard form factors/ expansion cards/ etc. changing enough to require new case configurations in the next 2 years: highly unlikely, IMHO.
