Case stickers or not.......

Fractal Arc Midi R2. I was wondering if it would be work putting a power by asus, intel xeon, and windows 7 sticker on the front. Yes/No, opinions. I can't make up my mind.

I wouldn't put case stickers on any computer. Why give away free advertising?

EDIT: I just realized the irony of my statement as I looked at all the free ads in my sig. :-S

How is putting stickers on supposed to "be work?" It's putting stickers on.

I personally don't put them on, but not for any real reason. Mostly, I never saw my first build as a permanent thing, so I didn't do it. My new case (Rosewill Blackhawk) doesn't really have a sensible place to put stickers, as the whole front is basically mesh.

Oh, and IDK how it's free advertising to put stickers on a PC that's almost certainly staying in your house.

Stickers make my computer go faster...

I have my i5/Pentium stickers on the front USB panel, on top, on both my Define Minis. I like the hardware aspect of computing, and I'm a bit of a brand snob.

Free advertising? I left my 'Ford' emblems on my pickup when I bought it... does that count?

No stickers on my rig. I also tend to keep cases longer than other components, so they end up housing different systems in them. The first rig I built in the case I am currently using had an Intel Core2Duo E6600 in it. If I had stickered it then, I'd have some pretty unimpressive and outdated stickers on it.

I heard case stickers makes your PC go faster akin to painting flames or adding sponsor decals to your car.

I don't like stickers on my pc or anywhere else.
It's up to you to decide if you want them or not, there is no right or wrong to this.

I've a few on mine, even a Pirate flag hanging off the side.

Do what ya want to.

Arrrrrrrrrrrr..........

*edit* heh my old 1200 needs a bit o vent cleaning.

I peel them off an put them on the next case. Usually on one side. It's history, man.

I miss the old intel inside stickers. It was funny putting those on random things.

I usually put the stickers on the case. It makes the computer go faster. 😛

The problem is heat transfer. Those stickers are like an insulation blanket. If you want to cook your components, by all means apply them.

I always use case stickers because the case appeals more IMO. The case looks better designed and it isn't a big black blob. On my Corsair 750D, I have the Intel i7, NVIDIA Graphics inside, and the Windows 8 sticker. I am trying to find a Windows 8.1 sticker. Also, my Nepthew was very young and took an extra Intel Inside and put in on my bed and said "Uncle, look, there is an Intel inside your bed!"

I didn't even think of that... I bet those "Intel Inside" foil stickers actually reflect the heat back into the case. Might as well run your cpu cooler without a fan.
