Case Recommendations?

I'm looking for a small atx case. not micro. and when I say small I mean Lian-Li PC31 small. The other stipulation is I'd prefer not to pay out the ass for it. Lian-Li prices are outrageous. Any suggestions. Englight 7237 is ABSOLUTELY the largest I'd even consider. I've also got a 300w PS I can put in there so no p/s would be a plus

Check out the cases at Directron.com. They carry the Enlight 7101, Fong Kai 604, ElanVital t5 and some other small cases. Standard ATX cases really don't get any smaller. The Enlight looks the easiest to work in, I would want to open up the front bezel a little and use an Alpha cooler with one.

YCC 801 ATX .. Mid-tower, tool-less, space for 4 (!) 5.25", 4 3.5", sliding MB tray..."user-friendly" 🙂

Nowadays referred to as the "Globalwin 801" (or "...802&quot😉...actually manufactured by Yeou Chih Co, Taiwan (Globalwin = distributor).

Apparently there's now a new version of this case that adds support for Pentiun IV:

I picked up an 802 case in '99 when the popular cases here were Enlight 7237, Inwin 500, Supermicro, Antec, etc. The YCC, I thought, showed more engineering design thoughtfulness and finesse, e.g. little details like LEDs and wires not affixed to the front panel (as clumsily, thoughtlessly done in most cases at the time)...intake-fan filter...tool-less design for ease of entry/assembly/dissembly...space for many devices and fans: capacity of a full-Tower in Mid-tower form factor.

Two years later, I still prefer it over any others...will be picking up another this week.

The inwin A... maybe S500 is a pretty cheap choice.
