case recommendations for mods?

Ok, I'm now a sucker for the idea of hot rodding my case. The current one I have isn't conducive to being modded, however, so my choices are to buy a new one and modify it myself, or buy one of those aluminum cases that already has a side window cut out or whatever. Any recommendations regarding a specific case? Any general tips regarding modding overall? I'm thinking of getting the Raidmax A288SD Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Case w- Front USB, X-Window, Light Blue Tinted Front Acrylic Panel. I've seen it online for $75 shipped. Any comments on that case specifically?

I'm liking the Cheiftecs. I just have a black and a blue one but would also like a gree one as well. I got a nice Zantac window with a 120mm fan mounted in the window in the black one. The blue one came with a 80mm fan in the door and I added a 120mm on the top. Both have fanbuses installed.

The look great and the prices are not bad.
