I'm looking to build an audio/video editing system and the only thing I'm not sure of what I want, is the case.

It does not have to be snazzy looking. No windows. Just the best bang for my buck. I'm looking for thick steel to reduce noise. Not so much worried about heat as it wont be overclocked. Preferably a mid-sized tower with 1.0mm SECC. I'd like decent ventilation (doesnt have to be great), hopefully somewhere to put big (92mm+) exhaust and intake fans. and I have to have firewire and usb in the front.

Any of you anandtech forum goers have suggestions or things I should look for?

Oh yeah, I like the Antec TruePower 380 power supply.. but if the case is right for me and I have to get another power supply with it then I'd be game. (i need another cheap ps)

I think the Antec Sonata may be something you'd like....if you like a black case.
Has all features you need, just built a system for a friend with this, and is a very nice case.
NewEgg.
Antec.
it even comes with a TruePower 380Watt PS.

I think the Chietec Dragon is a great case. I am a little partial since I own one. It's made of thick steel, nice and roomy. and has room for (2) 80mm fans in the front, and (2) 80 mm fans in the back. My chassis temp is usally 30c, so I can't complain about that.

fyi, I usually buy from newegg, but I ordered the antec sonata from amazon because they are selling it for $101 with free shipping and no tax. Newegg is selling it for $104 plus $15 shipping plus tax (for me a total of $127).

I like this Antec case if you can handle spending the $82. For only an extra $22 they will put the Antec 380 in there!

Antec SX635 case

I find Directron to be equal to Newegg in terms of reliability, speed, return policy and shipping. But while I go to newegg for disk drives and hard drives, I go to Directron for cases and psu.
