I'm building a new system, what is the best case and power supply? Will use for top of the line gaming system.

power supply: Antec True Power, at whatever wattage you prefer. 430w?

Case? Well largely a matter of taste for aesphetics but for internal/chasis the aluminuim cases made from the chieftec (aka chenming) base design seem popular (and what I'm going with). Presuming you want aluminuim look at Coolermaser and Lian Li; perhaps also looking at the base Cheiftec Dragon AX-01SL-D, or Thermaltake Xasier II 6000....

I made a thread here with a couple of alu cases i like, incl. some reviews etc. All based on the cheiftec.

yeah i'd have to say the Antec cases offer the most bang for your buck. My coolermaster is the best case i've ever had though but it's certainly not worth the money they charge.

i cant rave enough about the new kingwin cases (436). attractive, not flimsy like aluminum, but dissipates heat MUCH better than steel (it an al-mg alloy) and its available in black, silver, and blue. it does not have the door you're looking for but you might wanna take a look anyway:

this is the model in black, i'm getting one for xmas and i cant wait.

note: this is a directron case, its a rebadged superflower, superflower being the manu for kingwin

i love the enermax cases. i have one at home at it is fine well built and looks cool 😀 i also STEALTHED the drives so no worrys about them sticking out! 😛
