"charlietee,
do you have the pc 7bplus or have you seen one b/c you seem to be recommending this case to everyone... i like it too but worry about its quality... "

Not at the moment...Everytime I build a box using one it gets bought out from under me.

I have built 3 using it for myself and 7 for customers.

I really like these cases...In that price range the aluminum construction, effective filtering front and back 120m/m fans, blow hole and window...Nice...Really nice.

May not have the bang for the buck of this Antec SLK3000B...Under fifty bucks to your front door is hard to beat.

Easily my favorite case right now...And a great bargin considering the competition in that price range.

Well opinions are like...Uh you know...I really try not to give advice unless I have hands on experience with said componet...And usually will not recommend anything unless I have owned it or have used it in a build.

So on the Silverstone Temjim I have no idea...I have only made one build with thisSilverstone case.

And let me clarify my position on the Antec SLK3000B versus the Lain-Li PC7BPlus...For inexpensive builds I try to push clients towards the Antec...My personal experience with many builds using these cases have been nothing but positive...I think for that type build where the bottom line is very important to my client I really cannot go wrong.

Most of my clients spend in excess of 1k on a build and want everything sleeved with UV reactive sleeving and UV black lights...And they want me to do ever mod that I know of to their cases...In the price range of a 1k box I find the Lian-Li a great choice...I can cut a window into a SLK3000B and have many times...But really I find buying the Lian-Li instead of charging my client 58 dollars to install a window for the SLK3000B a better choice.

As far as which case is better I really dont think there is much question...Some will argue that the SLK3000B is the best case on the planet and hey that is their opinion...But my experience with the SLK and the PC7BPlus have given me knowledge that the Lian-Li is superior to the SLK in ever single way...From build quality, looks and thermal performance.

So it is pretty easy really...If you are looking for a inexpensive case that has great build quality and excellent thermal performance the SLK3000B is a great choice.

If you want a case with a window, aluminum construction, build quality second to none, and excellent cooling then the Lian-Li is a great option.

So in a nutshell...My favorite case is the Lian-Li PC7BPlus.

I know antec sells windows for its 1080 full tower series, I don't think they sell them for the 3700s though. But heck, get a good saw and some plexi glass and you can make your own if you want to, there's plenty of turtorials online for that. The case would be a tight-fit for water cooling, but for air cooling its perfect. It doesnt't take up the entire underside of your desk, it's actually a very convienent size. I just re-read your first post and wanted to warn you that it does have a plastic front bezel, but as you can see from the pics it looks good and isn't cheap.

Yeah I get the PC7BPlus from CoolerGuys...As far as accessories the only thing I put in them is this Lian-Li T-4 temerature monitor rack that mounts in one of the 5.25 inch bays.

I have never used one of their slot coolers but hear they improve thermal performance...But I personally do not have any experience with them.

Lian Li also makes this temperature monitor rack that mounts in a 3.5 inch bay and unlike the battery powered (357) batteries gets its power from a molex connector.

Nice case that has many improvement versus some of the older model Lian-Li's...In the 80 to 120 price range they are hard to beat.

In my humble opinion of course.

Cooler Master Centurion 5 is a helluva bang for the buck case these days. About $85-$90 for excellent construction, toolless design, great cooling, and a 350W PSU that isn't too terrible (I'd still replace it though).

I personally like mine quite a bit. However, if your budget is larger, look at Silverstone. Their Temjins are great cases.
